Where are you located?
I’m based just Northeast of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and serve couples throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Do you travel, and is there a travel fee?
Yes! I travel throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Travel of 60 miles roundtrip from my location is included in all planning & coordination packages. For venues located beyond this radius, a travel fee of $0.70 per mile will apply. If your venue is more than two hours from Minneapolis or requires late-night teardown, overnight accommodations may also be requested to ensure safe travel.

How long have you been coordinating weddings?
I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2017 and began coordinating in 2025.

Who will be coordinating my wedding?
Hi, I’m Katelynn—the owner and lead coordinator of Kindred by KG. I personally manage each wedding from setup through the final send-off. I can also assist for rehearsal coordination or decorating if extra help is needed, fees apply.

How many times will we meet before the wedding?
Typically, we’ll meet:

For an initial consultation
For a timeline discussion
For a venue walkthrough (4–6 weeks prior)
For your ceremony rehearsal

Additional meetings are always welcome, especially for my more involved planning packages—I love being as involved as you’d like me to be!

When is final payment due, and what are the payment options?
You will have a non-refundable 30% retainer fee at booking but final payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. I will send you an invoice via HoneyBook.

How do I know if a wedding coordinator is right for me?
If you love planning but don’t want to spend your wedding day worrying about details (or asking loved ones to), a coordinator is perfect for you. I make sure every investment you’ve made comes to life while you enjoy a stress-free celebration.

Do you have a preferred vendors list?
Yes! I’d be happy to share trusted recommendations for DJs, florists, photographers, bakeries, and more.

What’s your favorite thing about weddings?
So many moments—it’s hard to choose! I truly love being able to help couples be fully present on one of the most important days of their lives. Seeing a couple make the commitment to love and choose each other every day for the rest of their lives is a remarkable thing, and there's really nothing like it.
